Good job! Excellent deal &service for buildkit from BikerBob.com

Just wanted to drop a recommendation for fellow MTBR member BikerBob.com. I got an XT build kit for $540 shipped from him. The kit was packed carefully and each part was pristine in its original box. I am building up a Pivot Mach 429 which requires a specific type of front derailleur. BikerBob also went out of his way and called Pivot up and made sure to get me the type I needed.

All in all, awesome price, great communication and timely shipping! So for all you getting new frames this Christmas keep him in mind!

Yup. Same here. Great prices and great service. He makes sure you're getting the right stuff. I put together a large order through Bob. Most of the items were a really good value, a few not as cheap as other places, but certainly not overpriced.

One more thing. His website is not really representative of what he has available. So don't just go by what you see on his website. Shoot him an email and ask!

I'll support what has been said already. Great guy, great service and great prices. He was an exclusive Titus dealer and got hosed when the crap hit the fan. Buying from him is also supporting the little guy.

Came to post this. It seems he can get just about anything. I've gotten a few great deals from him. BTW - He's a canfield dealer and you may find the pricing to be a little better than going direct.

I have been dealing with Bob for a couple years now and have had nothing but positive experiences. He offers great prices and backs it up with great service. Bob can get his hands on anything you would need, so just shoot him an email. Really enjoying the Magura MT8s that i most recently picked up from him...Thanks Bob!

    More Praise . . .

Wanted to add my testimonial in support of Biker Bob. Bob worked with me from start to finish in building my new Lynskey Ridgeline from the frame up. I compared Bob's prices on each component to the average market retail cost, and his prices were universally cheaper. Bob's communication and support were top notch in all respects. I wound up changing my mind on some of the drivetrain components AFTER he had already shipped them to me, and he happily exchanged those components for my eventual choices. On the whole, A+ on everything from customer service to parts availability. Witness the fruits of our labor and cooperation:

Bob is awesome. I just placed a fairly large order as well. Communication was great and prices were awesome! I can't speak for all of his prices but the items that I was interested in, no one could come close, not even the overseas ebay sellers....He is a "must contact" if you are in the market!

I bought a Titus Motolite frame from Bob and took my parts and he supplied the rest. We (mostly Bob) put it together in about an hour and a half and I gave it a test ride in his parking lot and I was off to Tsali to break it in. Bob's a great guy but let's all quit saying it or he'll get a big head.

Many thanks for all the kind words.
In the modern age of anonymous shopping carts and buy it now buttons, it's nice to know that enough people would rather talk with one shop owner directly, discuss their bike and build, and have one person to reply to all their questions.
And that they refer their friends is a big help. Big motivation for me to keep at it for 15 years.

And thumbs up to MTBR.com classified which lets me offer a variety of mt bike gear to an informed buyer without having to spenda fortune on ads and mass emails or an IT department

Big ups to my Android which makes it possible for me to answer calls and emails, send and receive Paypal, etc. while riding/working on the trails next to my shop.

Resolve to ride more next year. Hope to hear from everyone in the new year.

great service and extremly good pricing

Met up with biker bob on MBTR over a year ago and since then have purchased parts for three bikes through him, he has fantastic prices, he is patient, knows the products and always delivers ,great find for me. Could not be happier much more personal than the large dealers he gets a 10 from me.

I'm in the middle of installing my first order from BikerBob.

Iím extremely happy with the parts price, shipping costs, shipping speed, and his communication via email. Thereís nothing more he could have done. This was a 100% top-notch transaction.

He even went above-and-beyond to ship an additional part at no cost to me. I hope he accepts my attempt to pay him for it as a token of my appreciation.

Next time Iím ordering up some new parts, Iíll check with him firstÖ

Another satisfied customer here. Bob set me up with a complete XO 2x10 drivetrain, a set of Truvativ T40 Noir carbon bars and a pair of American Classic 26" AM Tubeless wheelsets.

Fast, personal service, quick shipping, responsive replies to emails and killer prices. Highly recommended, will use again without a doubt.

Also, big thanks to "craigstr", who helped me with this project and hooked me up with Bob.

Wheels are arriving tomorrow, these pictures are after the XO install.

Odd, he's usually very responsive via email. Might have caught him on an abnormally busy week or perhaps your email might have gotten filtered in to his junk mail (happens occasionally). Try giving him a call.

I only check my email every 5 to 10 minutes, unless I'm riding my bike. Then it drops to every 20-30 minutes.
If you're the guy who wanted a Fox Terralogic shipped to the Ukraine, I may have not stopped riding to reply. I hope you found something.

Two of my grandparents came from the Ukraine, so it's not personal. I wouldn't mail them an $895 fork either.

I also don't reply to guys who want to pay with a money order from Indonesia.

I just wanted to leave some positive feedback for bikerbob. I recently purchased a Xt group from bikerbob. Easy going, will try to give you the best price possible. Shipping was fast and all of the components were in the retail packaging. Not oem. I will be a repeat customer. Thanks again

Lol. That box with the #18 is mine. Yeah, just to add to this many satisfied customer of Bob, his pricing was ultimately lower than the ones I was about to pull the trigger with. Im so glad I stumbled to this thread. Once again, thanks Bob. With your help my projected budget was much lower than I had plan to

    Another +1 for Bike Bob...

He has been extremely responsive to all of my emails at all times of the day. My order is somewhat small, but I have had an abnormal amount of questions and even goofed up in my communication with him and he has been nothing buy great throughout the whole process.

He is definitley as close to a LBS that I have experieced over the interwebs. You just get a good vibe from dealing with him.

That Boone's box was actually holding my brakes and tires. I also ordered a new set of Hope/Crest wheels from Bob, and his price was much better than direct from Stans website.

Communication was quick and service was exceptional. I would, and did, recommend him to my riding buddies.

Can't say enough about BikerBob. He is the best in the business in getting you the best prices around and has the best customer service that I have EVER experienced with any other online retail shop. He helped me build my dream bike and I can't thank him enough for all his patience and recommendations for all the particular parts that I needed to put my SCOTT SPARK EXPERT together. If you're looking for parts or recommendations, don't hesitate to give this guy a call. I will, from now on for any of my biking needs. Thanks BOB! Peace.
