Good job! Easton Havoc AM wheels $429 at ediscountbike

They have another one at this price, if no one else bids...or buy it now for something like $529, but then pricepoint has them for $500. Can't wait 'til I get my hands on them

I also admit I don't know anything about Easton AM wheels; however, for around $400 you could get a handbuilt Hope II with DT 5.1s. I bet the weight would be less and you would get a wheelset that can be easily serviced by any shop. Just a thought. Again, I admit, I know zero about the Easton wheelset. I'm just not a factory wheelset guy but they do look good.

FYI, I have ridden those wheels a fair bit and am not too impressed. I'd recommend something else, DTs are great.

I'd use Mike Garcia at oddsandendos.com. Great price on the Hope Pro II (that's two, not eleven). But I imagine you could also get a good set built by webcyclery.com or Mikesee (find his classified ad or peruse the 29er board).

I liked them the couple times I tried them. I don't care for thier retail price as the blowouts make it obvious it was too high.
