    Easton EA70 XCT 29 for 274.95 @ Comp Cyclist/Backcountry

I grabbed a set. At that price it was hard to turn down. Not the lightest or wide for that matter...but they are XD compatible, 142x12 rear end, and tubeless ready.

You get 10% back if you go through Active Junky.

If you buy through eBay, you get free shipping...but you don't get to select the XD version. No 10% back from Active Junky.

Bought these from CC using active junky and they showed up today. They sure don't look and feel like $275 wheels!

I mounted mine up this morning. No drama. Except that the cassette fitting onto the hub body was super tight. I was kinda tight on my Crank Brothers wheels, this is mad tight. Scraped off some of the anodizing that was on the hub body.

They came with the QR end caps on the rear wheel. I had to punch those out and I was able to switch to 142. Tubeless went on pretty painless.

Nice wheels, but not for clydes, IIRC 24 spokes, they are marked for XC, but if you are like me and hit the occasional roller be careful. But for under $300, roll the dice.
