Universal has them , if you're an existing customer you can use the 15% off code. I haven't seen any deals on the XX1 stuff.

X01 is about to be released. Universal also has the XO parts listed on their site with prices, although they aren't in stock yet. The price of the cassette drops a whole $26 dollars..... yep $399. I didn't expect this stuff to be cheap, but XO only saves you $85 combined for the cassette, shifter and derailleur. (forget the sram cranks now that race face and wolftooth are making 104 bcd rings) So now instead of spending $905 dollars, I can get the same stuff, but heavier, for $820 dollars. I think I may just order XX, its not worth the wait or the grams, at that price point, whats $85?

I believe upgradecycle was one of the places to go when the group was first released, but now they're back up to regular price. I think they were about 15% off, so no better than Universal.

Ebay is going to be THE best bet. $800 to $900 all day long, everyday. I too was looking and could not find anywhere that got close. $810 later and I am a XX1 drivetrain user.

Amazon has the 156Q, 170mm crank for $190. Even though the pic is of the shifter, it really is the crank...I got one.

M3rb have you already got your crankset from Amazon? I want to make sure it's not a shifter like the pic before I order one... Thanks.

That is a good price. Only about $125 more than what you can get it on ebay for every day.

Where'd you find this? I've looked on ebay and dont see much below 990 for the complete group. I tried looking for the lowest price individual components and that ended up even more expensive. I was only really looking at buy-it-now though.

does it clear your chainstay? on a lot of bikes, the 156Q cranks don't.

I'll be using my current XO crank with a WolfTooth 36t chainring.

On Ebay, if you bid you can 800 to 900 pretty easily. Nobody is outright selling at that price yet.

Deals on sram xx1 1x11 group set

Biker bob. I got a full xx1 from him and was really happy with everything. All was brand new in original boxes, shipped fast for a great deal.

If you have the patience for ebay, it's another way to go but I got sick of looking/waiting for the killer deals some folks say they were able to score.

+1 on Biker Bob. I may have paid $50 more compared to finding a great deal on eBay, but I have fully warranty and a great guy that gives great customer service. I would rather support Bob any day of the week compared to the unknown on eBay. And this is coming from someone who buys a lot of stuff on eBay. Great guy to deal with and you can customize to get exactly what you want. Hard to do that on eBay.

Never heard of Biker Bob before.
No XX1 on his website, so I emailed him.

    Hope to hear back soon.

    Thanks for the tip.

Don't even look at his site. Do a search for BikerBob on here and you will see glowing reviews everywhere. He usually gets back within 24 hours and he will give you excellent customer service.

Well, 4 days and two emails later, Biker Bob got back to me with this..

"I had a bad experience shipping to Australia once. Went missing in the post, total loss.
So I decided to not do it again.
    Bob"

I'm disappointed and sorry that he had such a bad experience that it ruined it for him (and for the rest of us Aussies.)

Still, it doesn't change the fact that I am after an XX1 groupset for my rocketship.
Unless someone can back up Epiphreddy's claim of, "..$800 to $900 all day long,..", then I'm going to declare it officially a Unicorn.

If I can't work with Biker Bob, then who is the second best dealer to go with?

I ship to Australia everyday for work (non bicycle related) with zero issues. Then one day I lost a bicycle part and can see why the likes of Biker Bob would be hesitant. For me usps.com express international is 100% perfect to Australia. With usps global priority (no tracking, no insurance or refund) it's 99% good but that 1% will hose you bad at the worst time.

Last year the sub $900 xx1 group was common, at least I found them all day long. Then the prices, or great deals, were no more. In a few weeks I may be selling my new in box xx1 cassette, derailleur and trigger shifter for less than $600. Everything would fit in a $43 flat rate envelope to Australia I bet; no oem boxes. But for the likes of Biker Bob that's not an option.

Didn't you find the XX1 group set for $1049 already? Even if he did ship to Australia, I don't think Bikerbob was going to beat that price by much.

I guess after reading the '$800-$900 all day every day', I'd expected that price was still appropriate in today's market.
It is an old post, and it would seem that price as well as time has marched forward.

In all honesty, with the positive recommendations all over MTBR for Biker Bob I was looking forward to dealing with him regardless of the price he came back with.
It's not always all about the cheapest price.

I hope Biker Bob regains some confidence in the Australian market.

If its over $260, than it is a derailleur.

This is a pretty good price, but keep in mind you still may need a chain, chainring and bottom bracket. Adding all the back in puts you around $900, assuming you aren't using a XX1 chainring, as those are fairly expensive relative to some other options.

If I had to do it all over again, I probably won't go with the XX1 cranks and chainring, I'd go with raceface next cranks and then pick from a number of chainring options.

Add in a chain ring since this kit does not come with it. A few places on Ebay for $1,100 or best offer. Worth throwing in an offer if anyone is interested.
