    Deals on 29" Tubeless Wheelset

I've found great deals on Sun Ringles Black Flags and Chargers in the past but dont see any around now. Does anyone have other suggestions where to find sales/deals on 29" tubeless wheelsets?

BTW When I say tubeless Im talking about "tubeless compatible"

    Thanks in advance!

I just picked up Stan's Arch/X.9 hub wheelset (29) on JensonUsa for around $350. Included skewers but no tape or valves. Pretty decent deal I think.

I looked for these but they are not listed on the website... Did you have them built for you?

I believe you've got to order them separately.

I dont think there is a link, since they are no longer listed anywhere on Jenson's website they may have sold out or no longer offer these.

For the others interested you can use the Custom Wheel builder on Universals website to build the same thing, they came out to just over $350 for me with X.9 hubs

i'm pretty sure CCMTB was referring to this link:

Stan's Arch 29'Er / Sram X.9 Wheel > Components > Wheel Goods > Mountain Bike Wheels | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

you have to order a front and rear wheel separately.

    Sram x9??

The Arch on SRAM weigh in at 2000g according to Jenson
    .Arch "EX" 29 on Stan's 3.30 1600g. Adaptable hubs.

Combine that with questionable rear hub on the X9 (POE) and it's not what I would spend my money on.

So... Are you offering an Arch Ex build for under $350?

I'm saying I would rather put more money into the Arch EX/3.30 than ride a heavy wheelset with 12points of engagement.
And get red, gold, blue, silver, or black nipples!

Feel free to email me with questions/availability.

Are the yellow tape and Universal Tubeless Valve system the only additional items you'll need, or is a No Tubes Conversion Kit still needed? I ask, because the No Tubes Kit comes with the yellow tape and I believe the valves, so I wouldn't want to buy repeat items. Thanks for the link!

This is posted in other threads, but I just picked up a Hope Pro II Evo/Crest 29er wheelset for $385 shipped from wiggle.co.uk using a coupon I found online.
No, you don't get to pick your colors, and the only option for 29er rim is Crest, but if you really want Crest/Hope, this is an AWESOME deal.

Easiest way to estimate is probably go add up the weight of the hope hubs, the rims, and the Sapim spokes they are using, according to the Hope web site.

Since the Sprint spokes are a bit harder to find, I can tell you the listed weight is 330g for 64, per this post on the weight weenie forum.

Good deal for sure, if you need an XC wheelset!

Hope Pro2 Evo hub F/R: 185g/285g (QR version)
    Crest 29er: 380g
    Spokes: 330g/64

185+285+380+380+330=1560g without nipples, skewers, rim strips, valves

Irv nailed it - my guess is you forgot one hub+ rim?

Alu nipples (DT) come in at about 21g per 64, brass are about 62g per 64.

So wheels alone, should be in the ~1600g range, skewers dont come with these (I dont think) so ~100-125g, depending on what you run.
