    Crankbros Eggbeater S $48.99

I'm wishing now that I had waited on my purchase of the Candy C's.

I think Sierra Trading Post may still have them at a very good price if they're the SL's.

$47.96 and I'm sure the specs/picture looked like the SL's

Not that I really care at this price (<$38 including shipping). What's the difference between S and SL?

Where would one suggest for Candy SL's?

I know my Shimano 520's will be dying soon, so I'm starting to think CrankBros...and the Candy looks like what I'd be after (not a platform like the mallets, but a little more there than the eggbeaters).

Its basically a model year/name change thing. The stainless version used to be designated "Eggbeater S" then they changed (I think in 05) to be "Eggbeater SL".

I've got a set of both, and the only difference I can see is that the SLs have a CB logo on the spindle.

The "S" and the "SL" are the same pedal. They changed the name from one year to the next. They're both the stainless steel Egg Beater.

I am probably wrong, but I thought there was a difference. For the SL, the spindle, body, spring, and wing were all stainless steel. For the S, I though I saw somewhere that one of those was chromoly, and 3 were stainless steel.
