Stay on them and make sure they ship. I placed 2 orders on 10-26 and I still have nothing. I finally heard back from them today and they said there was a mix up. They told me they sent out a replacement order today via DHL. At least it now can be tracked. Hopefully I will have it by Friday. That will be 3 weeks.

Also- for anyone looking for a XC saddle this is as cheap as it gets for Selle Italia SLR XC Flow (~$139 on QBP, limited offer at $110) Selle Italia SLR XC Flow Saddle | Buy Online | ChainReactionCycles.com

I too placed an order on October 26th and have yet to receive anything. I emailed them Sunday and received a reply on Monday stating I need to wait 15 WORKING days before filing a complaint. So I'm going to hold off until Friday, hopefully it will arrive before then. I'm thinking maybe there was some problems due to Sandy?

So did I. I placed the order last Monday. Not a bad turn-around time.

    Royal Mail International

Only thing I wish was that it would be trackable some how. But it's not.

My previous order took less for sure, ordered Monday and installed on bike on Friday.

They told me that Sandy may have been the reason for the delay. Makes sense since my last order showed that it had to go through customs in NY.

Still...it would be nice if they sent me a discount code to show they appreciate my patience...lol

I placed an order with CRC on Monday, and the order showed up to my house in California on Thursday via DHL. That's fast! Half the businesses on the west coast of the US can rarely get stuff to me that fast. This was just the standard free shipping, since my order was about $650.

And thanks to the person who posted about one of the COLD coupons as it saved me $51! Nice!
May the air be filled with tires!

Well three weeks later my order finally showed up. This was my first order with Chainreactioncycles, but I really don't think it was their fault. I'm still pretty sure it was because of Sandy, but other then that I was extremely pleased with their prices and customer service.

Be aware that many of the steeply-discounted components are OE. The listings don't say it, but they are. I ordered three items, and two of them (Shimano crankset and cassette) were OE.

I probably would have ordered them anyway, and I probably will order from them again, but I think it's bad business to sell OE items without disclosing it. Shape up, CRC.

Why are people always so butt-hurt over OE non-disclosure? What do you do with the retail packaging anyway? Display it on the mantle?

Why the hate? Some care, some don't. If the seller discloses, everyone can decide for themselves.

EDIT: and there's a lot of debate here about whether OE is covered under various manufacturers' warranties. For example, Shimano's warranty policy statement kinda-sorta says that OE isn't covered:

"Warranty claims of OEM Shimano parts
Shimano components that comes as a built up bikes as offered by the manufacturers/brands , should be refered back to the bicycle manufacturers/brands through the outlets/dealers respectively. As these are not serviced by the Shimano distributors."

If you're buying the part but not the warranty, you've got a right to know that, right?

CRC lists the selling price alongside the MSRP for the NIB item. Most buyers will read that as saying, "this item used to sell for $100, but now we're offering it to you for $50." But the OE item never sold for NIB MSRP. It's deceptive. It's even more deceptive because CRC does identify a few of its OE items as OE (here). One would naturally expect that anything else is NIB, but that would be wrong.

Whatever. I've got nothing against CRC. If you don't care whether it's OE, don't.
