It makes sense to disclose since I've heard some OE components can differ from their retail counterparts.

CAN10 will also work but I believe there is a minimum purchase of 100GBP on all these.

Even though these new codes work, CRC has been slowly raising prices for the past few weeks, at least on the items I've been keeping track of anyway. So prices after the new codes aren't as good as they were. For example, Thomson 30.9 mm seatpost and X4 70mm stem were $55 each before coupon, and about $50 after coupon. But if you need to buy now, it's a nice 10% savings.

I've noticed that too. I'm doing a new build so I've been keeping track of prices and I have a bunch of stuff in my basket. Like you said, everything has gone up. I wish I would have purchased a month ago when the prices and better promo codes were there. Waiting to see if holiday deals get better. I've made 2 purchases in the past month with them but didn't snag everything I'll need. I'm fairly new to buying components so I'm not sure when the best time to buy is(off season/holiday/etc). Wish my LBS prices were even remotely comparable but I buy some stuff from them now and again and I've purchased 2 bikes from them this year. I do appreciate everyone offering codes and deals when they find out about them here. So thanks everyone!

I noticed the same thing on the products I've been following. It's really a 5% discount.

I'd noticed prices creeping up a bit too, but I'd figured it was just currency fluctuations. But I just checked and the gbp has actually dropped since October, so prices should have been going down the whole time. Bah.

^ Agree! It isn't what it used to be. Now it's all about the marketing and hype of sales sales sales of unrealistic MSRP. There are great deals out there but it's far in between. Good luck shopping to us all!

To Eugene, EthanDM, and anyone who keep track of prices, how do you go about it other than constantly looking at your CRC cart? I use an extension in Firefox called AlertBox, but it lacks the email alert feature. I wish it was more like camelcamelcamel.com with its email alert feature. Thanks all.

And yes, please keep posting codes when you find them!

I haven't been watching their site long enough but I bought a Manitou Minute Expert from them last Thursday the price has stayed the same since they added the coupon today.

I was unsuccessful in getting them to add the coupon for me retrospectively. That is their policy and it is clearly stated but it is frustrating knowing that you could have gotten the product cheaper if you would have ordered one day earlier/later.

Not only CRC, I've noticed the same deal with Nashbar. Purchased a set of thermal tights 2 weeks ago for 16.99, then 2 days later with a 10% coupon price was adjusted to 19.99, then a week later another coupon was available, and price now was $24.99 for the same pair of tights. Talk about shady business practices. Definitely put me off from buying with them again.

+1 Nashbar being shady with sales/coupons. The base single speed bike will be 350$ one week then next week AFTER coupon its 375$. Pricepoint is pretty bad about this too. OMG 90% off. It was less expensive last week. Just have to keep looking long enough that you know what price is actually a deal and when you're getting taken by marketing.

Worth waiting till black friday/cyber monday for a better code, or just go for things you figure won't get discounted now? I'm buying Hope stealth V4's and highly doubt they will get any discount, same with the xt 10 speed cassettes since they're already so cheap. CRC usually go past 10%?

Tell me about it, I'm so frustrated with that policy as well especially considering it was only 1 day. Had I waited could have save myself $55 on a wheel set.

I feel your frustrations. I have a set of Hope Pro 2 Evo's in my CRC basket. The total has been 254 for weeks. I have been patiently waiting for a good code. Today when I went to apply the 10% code the price had jumped up to $275. I will keep waiting or hope wiggle drops a good code soon.

Yep, waiting on Wiggle as well for the same wheelset. Checked my email and last wheels specific 10% discount code was in September. They're long overdue! Maybe Black Friday?!?

Anybody else get fraud on their debit card a few days after buying from CRC? I paid with PayPal using my debit card and just got some. I rarely use my debit card to pay for stuff too, so that is I am pointing my finger at CRC.

Yes, I got a fraud from them using my debit card, someone got my number and charged a buch of stuff. PITA to fix. From now on I use a credit card rather that debit, easier and better protection. Must be CRC sells the numbers to theives LOL

    Thanks for the new codes.

Question - is CRC often out of stock on common items? My first purchase from CRC was back in late October so I've only been checking their inventory for the last 2 months. But some common items - XT rear derailleur, XT shifter pods - have been either mostly or completely out of stock since I first looked in October.

Not trying to be a hater here - just trying to understand why such a large business has such a tough time getting any inventory on common items. I'd love to buy something from them - they just never have it in stock.

Is this how things normally roll at CRC or is this some sort of seasonal issue? Again, I haven't been looking for more than 2 months now so maybe this is unusual for them.

I guess I can understand why they're out of stock for the Shimano parts. Their prices are the cheapest I've found anywhere else. M771 cassette was $45, HG94 chain was $25, M780 Ispec shifter pair was $80, M785 brake was $90, brake adaptor was $9 for all sizes. I've been trying to buy M785 brake moto-style in black/black, but no luck. They go in stock and out of stock so quickly. My solution is to check the item page whenever you can. Their email notification is too slow. Good luck.

I agree - $100 for current model XT brakes - shipped. I had my order prepped, walked away to do some other stuff and came back to find that the front brake is already sold out. Ya gotta move fast...

Between my buddy, my partner, and me, we've made a total of five orders for black/black and we all received silver/black. That also meant five returns! At least CRC gave us $8 e-voucher for each return. My buddy and I made our sixth and seventh purchases yesterday for about $78 each with the USD50 code and e-voucher. Let's hope we get black/black.

Does anyone know how CRC deals with coupons and returns? If I use a coupon for $20 off on a $150 minimum purchase and then return $75 worth of that stuff do they:

    1) credit $75-$10 (half of the coupon value since I'm returning 1/2 the stuff)
    2) credit $75-$20 (the full coupon value since my purchase no longer meets the $150 minimum purchase)
    3) something else?

    Thanks.

I ordered the black/black on Dec 14 and got them 5 days later. These are moto-style, , front-right and rear-left. Had to swap hoses and cut them shorter. Great deal!

Now that the January sale has started, the Dec sale codes are no longer on the homepage.

We're all trying moto-styled brake setup. I have more fine control with my right hand than my left. So it's make sense to me that I can control the front brake better with my right hand.

I ordered the m785 black on black brake as well and just want to point out that the reservoir top cap is silver on every model, including that one. I wish they were all black but for 80$ a side I'll learn to live with that bit of silver!

Right, from my understanding, the "black/black" models, refer to black caliper and lever/reservoir that's black with silver (chrome) reservoir cap. I didn't think all blacked out XT brakes even exist. The silver models has silver calipers and lever/reservoir that has black with more silver/chrome on it.

    black/black

    silver/silver

Order was $198 before the code shipped to the USA. Found the code this morning when I Googled CRC coupon codes. Looks like it's $15 Euro off so that's equivalent to $20.13US.
