To buy, or not to buy?
So, I happened across a frame that I was wondering if it was a good deal or not.
Scott Scale 10, 2009, "good condition" (local buy) $200 bucks, plus about 40 in gas to go get it.
BikePedia; Image Viewer
I had a 2007 Scale 10, as my race bike, it was bad. But I was wondering if a 2009 still is a good bike or not.
And I need to know asap!
You're kidding. If it's not a scammer, buy it now. I'll buy it from you if you don't like it for a good bit more.
Bamboo is real.
If it's in great shape, then I'd say it's a good deal. Just inspect it well and and know what to look for. Personally, I'd consider a brand new On-One Whippet for $450 before I'd buy an unknown, 5 year old carbon frame for $240.
Re: To buy, or not to buy?
I'd buy a $400 new chines frame over a 5 year old used one at that price
Really? I had one, and I could flex the crap out of it.
