    Bike Bling for the 4th....

Discount code for this weekend only is USA2011 for an add'l 10% off your entire order.

The email ad claims they are having a big sale across the store (all 2011 Fox forks and ALL Pearl Izumi stuff for example) and by using that code you get an extra 10% on top of sale prices.

    Good thru midnight July 5th...

I'm pissed at this site. I ordered some parts, they emailed me saying it shipped in the AM and charged me. Later the same day they said it is delayed. I emailed them 3 times and got no reply. I called 4 days later and they said it is on the way to their store. I'm waiting still and can't ride my bike.

I ordered parts from pricepoint and got them within a couple of days. I say stick to the reliable sites.

Bike Bling is quite notorious for having a crappy inventory system that's not linked to their site. Dunno if a huge upgrade to their website is on their menu, seeing how they're a basic LBS with an online store that sells nationwide. I heard similar stories like yours from many others, including a similar experience of my own.

I'd like to support the little guy, but I simply get a more satisfying buying experience from the likes of Hucknroll and JensonUSA. The main reason being that I can talk to their reps and can tell that they're really good guys, and that they genuinely want to help you out, they type you'd want to hang out with and talk about biking and other passions. I'd think I'm doing the reps, of other shops, that seem busy or have too much on their minds to really interact beyond business matters with customers a favor by not shopping them, so they can get back to their alternate tasks, chatting with coworkers, or whatever. I guess it's the customer is #1 concept.

    Ahhh BikeBling,

As for chatting with you, they're pretty good at that. I talked with one of the guys from sales who answered all kinds of questions of mine, I think I was on the phone with him for 45 minutes with no pressue to make the order then.

As for them being able to compete with the big time shops, its not the case. They took my order and then screwed around for 4 days before shipping it. Something that I ordered from Jenson a week and a half later came in only 2 days after the earlier order from BikeBling. Both went through the same processing station in SoCal.

One of their sales reps told me a certain component came with something that it did not. When I called back to complain that it didn't contain the item, I asked for free shipping after I purchased what I would need, the rep responded "We can't do that, we gotta make a living somehow you know."

I would buy from them again in the future, but only if the price was really good and I wasn't in a hurry to get the parts. Several coupon codes work for them at all times giving you an extra 10%, use REALDEAL.

Bikebling is one of my favorite stores... Probably not the fastest shipping but you can find good deals on high end stuff. They also carry a lot of USA made products.

IDK , just got off the phone with one. Made 2 calls to BB today one to ask about Urge helmet, first girl said not in stock even though website said in stock, took my number. Called again a few hours later, a guy kept trying to finish the sentence for me and kept making mistake on the model, til he looked it up and corrected himself by saying the website had it wrong, he's right

I asked when it would be available he said dunno, not one store in the US has the Full Face Urge helmet now.

I have not shopped in SD for a while are they the same people as Beyond bike?

I wouldn't buy from them. They messed my order up. I think Varaxis is right. These guys don't have good inventory control. I'd like to help the small B&M shops, but if they keep messing up then forget it. I really don't need advice from them anyway.
