If you join your local IMBA chapter they will send you a free subscription. Was supposed to be a 6 month "trial" but it's been 3 years and the issues haven't stopped coming.

Been there. I figured I'd let my sub expire so I didn't renew. But Rodale likes to play a 'auto renew' game. They got nasty when I didn't pay for the magazines I didn't even ask for.

Well... They don't have a credit card, or bank account number. They've sent me dozens of renewal notices that I've ignored and I keep getting the magazine.

With the IMBA membership freebie, you will get a bunch of renewal notices. But they keep sending you the magazine even if you ignore the notices. I assume they need the distribution in order to get/keep advertisers.

That is wrong of them. These "automatic" annual renewals can get ridiculous. It's like Gym memberships in the 90s lol

Not impressed with the mag. I had a deal on Bicycling and their mountain bike one. I really only wanted the mountain bike one but they ended up only sending me Bicycling. Then when the subscription ended they tried to auto renew but luckily I had a new CC card so it didn't go thru. Shoddy tactics from them and I would stay away.
