Best price for XTR M970 Crankset

As the title says im wondering where the new XTR crankset can be had for cheapest, besides ebay and those Asian sellers. Looks like Universal cycles has it for 458$ with their coupon.

About a week. My order was processed Monday, arrived on Friday. It ships as express mail when it hits JFK in NY. Day or two after that it will be to your door (or most likely post office, you have to sign for the delivery).

Just fyi, CRC isn't doing free shipping now to the US (I was on their site a little while ago). It's free shipping only to the UK right now. Probably run again in a month or two unless you want to pay the shipping which is usually around $30 for cranks.

Interesting they're still showing free shipping to Canada on orders over 150 GBP ($315) as of right now.

That's because they haven't released you from being their territory yet. Whose picture is still on your money?

Just kidding!! I have family all over Ontario so I kid them too. Back on topic: That's just weird. I recently upgraded Netscape to Firefox and it didn't show anything (or my wishlist items) but when I opened IE it shows my list and has free shipping to the side but it says free to UK in the middle title line below "It's Springtime". Crazy. Even when I logged in using Firefox it didn't change. Must be a browser thing somewhere in the code.

Guess place an order and roll the dice.

If you don't log in the default page just indicates that they do free postage for all UK orders, they don't mention the free shipping over 150 pounds.

It's free. I've made countless orders from chain reaction including my 970 crankset (I paid $351 several months ago.) I'm in Texas.

Well Looks like CRC is totally out of all XTR cranksets. Anyone have a place in the states that they know is the best deal. Best I can find is Universalcycles for around 450$

You can tell that every race team in Europe must be doing final builds before the World Cup season starts next weekend, a lot of higher end Shimano product is out of stock there.

Call Larry at Mountain High Cyclery. He has always given me the best price on the higher end components. Sometimes he is hard to catch. I have the best luck calling late in the day. If you leave a message or e-mail him he will get back to you.

Probably a non-issue as other people have mentioned, they list the crankset as being out of stock... but when I look at it it comes up as: 437.56 USD. Is that $329.65 an old price, or is that including some coupon?
