My daughters headset is shot on her little Hot Rock, so I'm thinking of using it as an excuse to upgrade mine. I'm going to pass mine on to her, and put a little bling on my bike, in the form of a blue anodized headset.
My old bike has a Chris King headset, which is old, but still buttery smooth.
My new bike has a Cane Creek, which also works fine.
I see everything from $30 sets I've never heard of, (Chinese junk I'm sure) to the obvious Salsa, Token, Origin8, etc.
I'm not into buying for the name. I just like how the blue anodized parts look on my bike.
I ain't a weight weenie, but don't want one that weighs 3 pounds either.
What are the differences, besides material, and weight?
