I was just looking around at prices thru qbike and bestwebbuys, best I saw was 140-160 at pricepoint for 7s depending on rotor size. Just thinking about it, but then I'd have to pop for some new shifters, and since I want SRAM, that means a new derailleur, too....the total is discouraging.

Jenson USA seems to be taking pre-orders for 07 sets of Avid brakes at prices that appear to be almost 50% off compared to the 06 versions they have in stock. Hopefully, it's not a too good to be true deal.

Universal Cycles has it for similar prices, but if you apply their 15% coupon you get them for a few bucks more than the J5.

Coupon expires today (I got 1 pair of 185mm front+rear)

right now www.sagecycles.com has the 07 avid juicy 7's for $141. the discount will not appear in your cart so you will have to make it a phone in order. i verified this with email as i first saw the ad on mtbr.com. the cheapest i've found them otherwise is 160 ish. this for the 160mm rotors. as an added bonus, you receive a 15% discount for your first order which makes this a great deal.

    Bikeman.com has 2007 Juicy 7's for $146.

I believe they are in stock but I'm not positive.

Avid lowered the price of the 2007 Juicys. You prob won't see the 2006 got blown out for close to 2007 prices b/c the wholesale 2006 price was so high.

There is a thread on here somewhere from Larry @ Mtn High Cyclery (Ventanerama) . He talks about the drop is price.... sweet I think! I may be upgrading my BB7s soon...
