Performance Bike use their new coupon code to get 20 percent off. Also check out REI in their outlet section, they have the PI Vagabond jacket with removable sleeves for only $60.

Why are these things so expensive? They're less difficult to make than a pair of shorts, yet cost more than budget shorts.

I would say they are more expensive and they have better material than budget shorts and they make less volume.

I've had my Pearl Izumi ones for 10-12 years, one of the best $ to utility ratios out there.

    Pearl Izumi Therma Fleece

I think the PI's are the best out there. The Therma Fleece are about 25% off now at REI:

    Longscycle.com

They've got arm warmers for $9. Crappy web site if you're on dial-up, but I've used them a few times with no problems.

for arm warmers, defeet armskins cannot be beat regardless of price (about $20 usually)- they just won't fall down
