Upset Anybody know how to contact Garry Snook?

Isn't he the president of Performance Bike? I'm sick of dealing with his idiot employees. I need to send my complaints straight to the top.

I used to work for them. They do definitely suck. Snook's email is here:
garrysnook@performanceinc.com I used to have his extension number in Chapel Hill, NC (Perf. headquarters) but I lost it. I think anyone working at the retail store can get the number--we had a directory taped to the phone.

He will not respond of course, mainly because he lives in Aspen, CO and spends his time fundraising for the Bush administration rather than guiding his company...

Nothing's worse than being ignored when you walk in.

Called yesterday to one of their local stores to find out what shocks they had in stock. The employee was mumbling and talking like he just graduated from kindegarten language classes. I got put on hold three time within 2 minutes because someone was calling and he had to tell another employee his brother had called.

FINALLY, when I asked what forks he had in stock he literally said some kind of Rock Shox but I dont know the name....I hung up there after I said you can usually read the other side and it would say something lile Reba!

    Garry Snook or...

Garry the Snook? Performance's service has been so bad lately I might have known a Snook was running the place.

    Main Entry: snook
    Function: noun
    Etymology: origin unknown
: a gesture of derision made by thumbing the nose.

Thumbing the nose at customers is pretty much the modus operandi at Performance.

    Is this true?

If so, I may have to take my business elsewhere.

Snook is a non-cyclist, a GOP supporter and Google is our friend

(use control+f and seach for Snook)

I even found his phone number and his personal email address posted on a hiking forum (not that I would give it out--it's tempting though) You can even mail your thoughtful complaints to his "ranch":

    (again, control+f : snook)

I can't find the contribution to Bush that I found earlier but I'll keep looking

    Cheers

It's public record when you contribute politically.

I love how everyone complains but yet still shops there. It's the same people that would curse someone out on their voicemail but forget to leave their call-back # because their too big of a p*ssy.

After visiting many shops for years, I'd have to say I've witnessed the most retarded cyclists in either a Supergo or Performance compared to those in an independent shop.

The guys at Supergo have gone from a good situation to being owned by Performance. Employee moral is low. So I've found that by giving them respect, I've been treated with equal respect. My local Supergo has very friendly employees, but I feel bad for them sometimes when i'm in there and hear the lame questions they're asked (obviously, I visit often- don't tell my wife!)!! I don't think I'd be able to handle it!

Garry's vision for Performance is to follow the WalMart model. Big box retail stores, carry middle to low end stuff, high volumes, low prices, slave wages. When talking to Performance employees, think WalMart. Everybody hates them but still shops there anyway.
