More places take Paypal than DON'T.

I'm actually surprised at the number of places that take PAYPAL.

Why would anybody care weather paypal is accepted? I must be missing something. Please tell me what is cooking? I see some "pressure" on stores to accept paypal from posts on internet and wonder if paypal pays people to do this.

Here http://www.myspace.com/PricePoint is some dude saying:

"hey... you got some GREAT items that i would like to buy... but when are you going to start accepting Paypal??? do you have an ebay store???"

Huh? PricePoint please do not start selling on ebay!

    Anyway, why?

    Here is your question answered:

    Reliable stores accepting paypal
Reputable online bike shop that takes paypal?
    Retailers who accept Paypal?
Which reputable bike stores accept PayPal?

So is it your wife you need to hide your expenses from? I guess that is a good one.

Soon there will be signs on gas stations: "No PayPal No Service!!!!". Imagine your LBS with "PayPal Accepted" sign. LOL!

Search google for sucks and ...

You've sold a bunch of stuff on ebay. You don't want to wait the three business days it takes for Paypal to transfer your money to your bank account. Even so, perhaps you don't have a debit card attached to the bank account that PayPal will transfer your funds to. In these instances, if you want to make a purchase today, with money you have in your PayPal account today, and you don't want to buy on ebay, you need a vendor who accepts PayPal.

    That's what's cooking, mr myopic.....

Did you know that you can request a check from paypal? That is what I do when I sell bunch of stuff oversees (I do not take paypal for US sales). If I only have a small balance I spent it on ebay whenever I need something or pay ebay fees with.

Oh so it is lack of patience or lack of knowledge or lack of trust to USPS to deliver the check. I understand now.

With so many people asking the same question I thought I was missing some opportunities promoting paypal.

Thank you mr smart. Oh..I can do it as well, watch, 3x in a row:

Although Paypal is hated by sellers because of their near 4% fee, as I buyer I think it's the greatest invention since the remote. You can hide every purchase from the ol' ball and chains.

No doubt, it was a smart move as was with ebay. It didn't used to be that sellers and buyers where discouraged from not using paypal. Now days you try to sell or buy and you see all kind of warnings if paypal is not used. Oh well...I hope that at least paypal service got better and they no longer close legitimate accounts and censor internet content as it used to be the case.

Yes, fees especially for no-CC purchases are high IMO.
