I've had a good experience with these seatpost here @ $62 dollars.

A little lighter than that maxm post but longer length. You can get it in various widths and zero setback or with setback like the one I linked above. The only "issue" really is the wait time to have it shipped from China but it never really took that long. Bout two and a half weeks.

I have one on my road bike and another on my trainer. Reason it's on my trainer is because I started using a dropper post and now i can't go back. Hell I can't even bare to not have a dropper post on my fully rigid mountain bike!

No personal experience with these, but read good things about them:

    BlueSkyCycling.com - Kalloy Uno SPC-105 Carbon Seatpost

    BlueSkyCycling.com - Kalloy Uno SPC-614 Carbon Seatpost

    Both available in 31.6 350mm

Thanks all, I just picked up a Kalloy Uno at BlueSky for $25. Tough to beat at that price. Hopefully it lasts and I'm happy with it, but it will at least be good for a temporary solution. What are the do's and don't for carbon seat posts?

Anything in the 400mm range with 25mm setback out there (27.2)?
