    3-Mode 930-Lumen bike light $42.70.

Got an email from dealextreme. Also notice that it claims it will ship from us warehouse. Not too sure about the quality, but I would guess it's okay.

Here is a light with an older emitter that seems very similar , but more expensive and has some reviews, which may give you some insight.

Read the reviews on the ones you buy from DX, some of them have an extremely narrow beam pattern.

Here is a great thread about that particular light on a Texas MTB club forum:

The $44.30 Magicshine light, review | DORBA

I value the opinion of the guy who started the thread since he is an accomplished BTDT rider and travel author.

So from what I can gather - they are worth the money and you need to buy another lens to get a better spread of light....

We've got a thread in the Lights forum on this one (82510 and several variations of it)
    New bike lights on DX
I have one and have been using it this fall. As shipped it's useless unless you're looking for a laser pointer. I added a different lens (beam shots in linked thread) and couldn't be happier.

With that said, its a half price magicshine and is treated as such:
    - I won't ride with it as my only light.
    - It gets charged in my basement inside a cement block with a solid block on top of it.

I bought 2 sets early last week and they arrived this last Monday. Charged it and I went for a 1.5hr ride last Tuesday night. I like it for what they're worth; good quality and bright enough (actually more than enough) to see where I'm going.

A friend actually recommended me this, he said he's been using it for 2 years now and still works great. The only thing he said he replaced was the battery. $85 for two? I'm happy!
