Most on e bay are 20 and 21.5 sizes. I'll keep watching though. I'm sure some will come along in 18.5

Finding a 2012 18.5" Element 950 or-970!! ......sorry but no easy task at any price IMHO.

I spent all of October and half of November looking for an 18.5" Element 950 or 970 at 10 to 30% off of MSRP....it was near impossible. In fact I only found one 950 in Colorado and that was at full retail of $3250.

There were numerous larger 20 and 21.5 950's with 15-25% off on Ebay but no deals on the popular 18.5" size. I did find a couple of 18.5 demo 950's, one in Fruita and one in St George at near 30% discounts but they were heavily demo'd and looked like they were ridden way hard......definitely not worth that money to me.... but both of them sold right after I passed on them.

I really wanted a 970 but the two I bid on, sold for quite a bit more than what I wanted to pay. I did finally manage to find an immaculate 950 by a quality Ebay seller, that I finally grabbed. Did not get all of the discount I wanted but I really wanted that specific bike.
In late summer I spent six weeks demo'ing a lot of MTB's and found that the Rocky Mountain Element 930/950/970 to be the perfect package for me. A great ride a the right price.

I trust if you watch Ebay real close you should eventually find a great 950 or 970 ... needless to say please do all the proper things to insure a safe and proper buy. Be patient...the bike is worth it.
