    2011 Niner One 9 frames - $459.99 (45% off $850.00 MSRP) - Chainlove.com

Saw it posted on Chainlove for the first time this morning. Good deal and bound to come back again.

    That's a pic of a MCR9 though.

Chainlove has a MCR9 pictured, but the op got it right. Unless they are selling the ultra rare mcr9 w/EBB.

I've got a script that emails me every time chainlove is updated, and I keep seeing this frame. If this is an MCR pictured, is the 2011 one9 the same as the one pictured on niner's website?

No. The 2011 was the last scandium tubed One9, which at a glance looks more like the bike pictured than the one currently on Niner's website which is hydroformed. I've had one of each, the first gen and now the revised version. The new one is lighter and rides really well, but the difference between the two is pretty minimal to me on the trail.

This thread has a pic of the 2011 version.

On a related note, BlueSky has the Niner Air 9's for $499.98 (they only have Larges in stock, though)

Is this frame easy to setup single speed? Can you use the special bottom bracket?

The sale price seems like what it should retail for.
