I sent them two emails asking about shipping to Canada, and i have not gotten a reply. It seems they don't want my business.

Edit:I called the 1-800 #, and spoke to a person right away.

    Awesome deal

Thank you so much for spreading the word on that coupon, i just saved $102 too. The time has come for me to put my trusty 01 rocket 88 to rest and build up a new ride. I think my new kona kikapu deluxe frame will suit me just fine now. Rediculous price, had to pick up the sun black eye wheels while i was at it.

They said they ship USPS to canada, and the fees are based on weight. For my <$70 order (saddle, derailleur, lube) shipping was ~$18. So the shipping fees are similar to those by blueskycycling or pricepoint. I placed my order on friday evening, and it is currently "being processed." Hopefully all goes well. Either way, i will report back on my experience.

Thanks dude. That's pretty reasonable, USPS is usually preferred over the courier companies. I think I'll have to see if there's anything I "need"

Same here. Ordered on 1/11/07, Thu. Sent them an email regarding shipping via their website two days ago and no response. I am gonna call today to find out when. If it is not shipped by end of this week, I am canceling my order.

Called today. My order is still being processed. They said they would try to get it shipped out tomorrow, and if not, then Monday.

That's fine by me. It is the middle of winter, so speed is not really a big deal at this time of the year.

It's great that they have a 1-800#, especially since they don't seem to reply to emails.

I placed two orders with WheelWorld during their last 20% off coupon. My order said "being processed" for DAYS. While the prices are great with these coupons, the processing/shipping seems to be a bit lacking... When I finally got my wheels, one was dinged up and neither had the q/r skewers they were s'posed to come with. They're s'posed to be on the way.

edit: Weird, just as soon as I finished posting this I got my shipping notification for my missing skewers....

Mine took 8 days with weekend in the middle. It's on my way... Truth of the matter is, everyone on-line shops has done this at one time or another. We just hope when the shipping delay happens you don't miss any epic ride or stall bike build project.

I must admit that JensonUSA is the only shop I can accurately count on shipping date based on their website info.

    Very interesting.

This is only my second order from an online retailer, so I am not familiar with the wait times and such.

I guess this proves that just because somebody else gets their order in x days, does not necessarily imply the same results for another individual...

Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! It all depends on what shipping you choose!!!

If you pick 5-8 days, they will pack the purchases of customers that have purchased express shipping before yours. This allows them to prioritize their shipping and is especially prevelant for purchases made over weekends when their is a shipping back-log for employees shipping out items on monday

    Mine took 2 days!!!

    Not true...

Previous order I placed from Wheelworld back in Dec '06 and few others over the years have arrived in three business day. Four days if you count the day of the order. And I always have chose cheapest 5-8 day option. It always came via UPS ground. It really depends on wheather or not they have the items in stock.

as well as how close you are. I get stuff from performance bike in 2 days with 5-7 day shipping because I am in the same county as the warehouse. However, pricepoint is on the opposite coast from me and it took 4 days to get something via 2-day air.

    True that...

Yes. When I order from east coast shop, same UPS ground takes 4-5 days.

The complain in this particular case is not the courier delivery time but how long it takes for items you ordered from the Wheelworld to leave their door.

Mine was took 8 days leave their door but I had worse from others (in rare case) but mostly better.

    Listen! Update

I received my shipment. It took a total of 18 days from the day of ordering.

I would rank my ordering experience as a good one.

Since I ordered from Canada, I needed to pay GST/PST and a $5 handling fee.

    I ordered a saddle, a derailleur, and a lube.

The derailleur came in a baggie, and not the original packaging. Considering the price I payed, I am not going to complain about that.

The saddle was in its original packaging, and the bottle of lube was full.

    Order

My order came as promised. Cranks and cassette both in the original packaging.

18 days is a long time, but its Canada.

If anyone is looking for another coupon - University Cycles up in the NW has 15% off any order $300 or more. Their shipping arrived in 3 days. Took a little longer for them to get it all together but it arrived within a week of ordering.
