    ZTR Flow 29er, what hub is best?

    I bought a set of ztr flow 29er wheels during the sale a few months back and need to know what hubs are the best for them?

    Chris King hubs are the best for any rim make, model, or size...get the stainless steel freehub body for extra awesomeness!!!

    As mentioned, the Kings are a good option. For some, those are simply too spendy though. If that's you, take a look at the stuff from White Industries. Easily just as durable as the Kings, but a bit more budget oriented.

    Hubs are not 26er or 29er specific. What you do need to match is the number of holes (i.e. 28/32/36) in the hub to the number of holes in the rim. Also axle type: QR or 10/15/20 mm Through-Axle

    I got me a set of King hubs. Love them. I read up on hubs for couple months before I bought mine, and I would also consider DT, Hadley, and Hope hubs.

    I got Kings, because;
    1. I can afford them,
    2. Their high POE, and
    3., Their design.

    Here's a vid that explains the difference between other hubs and DT/King hubs

    I'm really good looking.

    If you cant afford a new king, I wouldnt really hesitate to buy a used king. Its not the kinda part that can really be hammered to death used (of course anything is possible, but those things hold up).

    Ive seen complete king hub sets go for 300-350, or complete wheels go for not much more.

    I really like my Stan's 3.30 hub. Much cheaper than King, and has held up to some abusive riding quite well. That being said, I upgraded from Specialized stock hubs that I blew up twice in a series of two months, so I wasn't exactly riding the best quality stuff before.
