    xtr wheelset and geax tnt barro mountain 2.3

    i was wondering what i would need for tubeless conversion with shimano xtr wheelset and geax tnt barro mountain 2.3 tires. i know i need some sealant but no strip. what else to complete the job.

    Tubeless valve and possibly an air compressor

    possibly some patience...though a UST rim and Tubeless Ready tire should limit the frustration.

    Aren't the new XTR rims UST? I guess it'd depend on which generation the op has

    isn't that what he said?
    OP- most likely you'll be able to air up with a floor pump. Don't forget to use soapy water to lube the bead & help get it seated.
