wtb sx24 conversion with stans strips

has anyone converted these rims to tubeless?

i have a spare wheelset with these rims and a spare set of maxxis crossmark lust 2.25 tyres and was wondering if it would be worth my while buying a couple of stans rubber rim strips and converting these wheels to tubeless for a 250 gram per wheel weight loss

has anyone done it before?

The tubeless conversion is going to save you more like 25-50g over a tubed wheel. A standard tube and rim strip is about 200g, stans rim strip and sealant is about 175g. Give or take here or there, but you wont be saving 250g from removing the tube!
