    WTB Speed XC vs XT?

I am thinking of getting a 519 based wheelset with either WTB Speed XC hubs ($139) or XT hubs ($169). Anybody have any opinions on either?

I'd go with the cheaper one

I've owned, ridden, and built on both the WTB speed XC hubs and XT 75x hubs. The WTB's have sealed cartridge bearings and the XT's are cone and cup. The XT's use good qulaity bearings and end up being very smooth and feeling to me like a sealed cartridge hub. I'd guess the weight to be about the same. Personally I'd save the $30 and go with the WTB's. Either one is a good choice for the price. One thing to check may be the skewers. WTB hubs usually don't come with them while Shimano's hubs do. That could take up a good portion of that $30.
