    Are WTB i23 & i25 interchangeable?

Are WTB rim models of the same diameter interchangeable? My Nomad came with Frequency i23s, but Team i25 or KOM i25 rims would be a relatively inexpensive upgrade.
If so, are KOMs durable for very rocky terrain? My local trails guarantee rock strikes.
WTB gives Frequency rims DH status while KOMs are stuck with Trail/AM/Enduro labels, which makes me wonder.

be careful, the ST version does not have same ERD. Kom does not have the same ERD as Frequency Team either. But i23 to i25 of the same does

Thank you. I don't know much about wheel-building. Rims themselves aren't that expensive and I was hoping it could be an easy swap.
There isn't an ST 27.5 i25 model, unfortunately.
And to be clear, you're saying that the ERD of Frequency ST and Team are different, too?

I don't even know how much money spokes for two wheels would be.

    Check all the details here:

    Frequency Team | WTB

ERD is most probably not exact but they will give you an idea. You are talking about building a wheel from scratch if what you want means more than replacing the rim. That can be done slightly easier.

i23 to i25...you will be hard pressed to feel a difference. i23 to KOM probably however that won't be as tough as the i23. Just my 0.02

I think this is not good usage of your money. The increase of the rim width is marginal. If you go with KOM you will drop some weight, but then there is doubt about durability. Better spend this money on better tyres.

Basically the same price. I'm looking to ditch HR2s and run Ardent 2.4s tubeless.
