WTB Frequency i23 and Continental Race King 29er

Anybody have luck mounting Continental Race King 29ers to the WTB Frequency i23? I'm not sure if the tires I have are UST or not and I'm having a heck of a time trying to mount them with a floor pump and a Co2 pump.

I'm also new to tubeless, would it help if I used a soapy solution.

Frequency i23 rims are designed to run with Tubeless Ready tires. The Protection versions of Race Kings are tubeless ready and will work great. The standard versions are not tubeless so as you've found out they will be difficult to seat.
