    Wheelset deal

So here is my dilema...right now I am just a weekend warrior on the trails, although I do ride my bike to work occasionally and I would like to do it even more. The problem is that I just upgraded to knobbier tires more suitable for the trails. The ride to work is on a mostly paved trail and road. I like my old tires for the ride to work, but dont want to create the extra wear on my new tires riding it to work. I was thinking of getting just a cheap usable wheelset for riding to work instead of unmounting and mounting tires every time I want to hit the trails or ride to work. Does any one know where I could get some decent wheels for a 29er? or have a suggestion as to what kind I should get? I do not mind buying used either. Thanks!!!

Craigslist may be worth a shot (check Boulder/Denver area), and Ebay as well.

Have you considered building the wheels yourself though? You could save a few bucks, and teach yourself how to fish.
Check out for fully customizable, handbuilt wheels.
