    Wheelbuilding - ZTR Crest 650b

So i want to re-use my existing 26'' wheelset and "convert" it to 65b by exchanging the DT Swiss 4.2D with a ZTR Crest 650b. Unfortunately my LBS doesn't stock spokes for anything other than 26'' wheels so i need to order some but my wheelbuilding skills are very low ...

Using the DT Swiss online calculator i came up with these values ( normal 3x lacing ):

    Spoke length - front
    precise
    le. 272.40 mm
    ri. 276.20 mm

    rounded
    (incl. Corrections)

    le. 271 mm
    ri. 274 mm

    Spoke length - rear
    precise

    le. 273.70 mm
    ri. 273.70 mm

    rounded
    (incl. Corrections)

    le.272 mm
    ri. 272 mm

I'll be using either DT Swiss Competition with 14mm DT Swiss alu nipples. I entered the values into another calculator ( wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/ ) and it gave almost the same results.

But where i'll be ordering only have the following sizes:

    272 mm
    274 mm
    276 mm
    278 mm
    280 mm

Which ones should i buy ?

Not know what hubs your using...I would say a 3mm difference in the front spokes is HUGH...at most it's usually a 1mm difference.

Damn sorry completely forgot ... the hubs are DT Swiss 240s ( 6 holes ) both in the front and back.

Even the wheelpro.co.uk calculator gives that difference,

    Front
    Left 272.2mm ( 3x lacing )
    Right 275.9 mm ( 3x lacing )

    Rear
    Left 273.4 mm ( 3x lacing )
    Right 273.5 mm ( 3x lacing )

So if i'm correct i need 48 272mm spokes + 16 274mm spokes ( this using DT Swiss Alloy 14mm nipples + DT Swiss Comp spokes ) or should i get 270mm spokes for the front/left side ? Considering that the diam. info on the ZTR website is correct.

I'd error on the longer side with alloy nipples...272mm on the FL side
