wheel damage
just noticed this today, not sure for how long i have been riding it like this. looking for advice how to repair, is it just rubber hammer/pliers to fix it? is this going to compromise my tubeless setup when i fix it? i assume it is not going to get fixed perfectly. super bummed as this wheel is fairly new.

Large Crescent wrench would give you the leverage. Aluminum is not known for retaining any strength after being bent, so use at your own risk!!

It might not be as bad as it looks. Check this out: Triangle and Rim Straighten

ended up using 3 different widths chisels to pry it up. started with widest one. sealed tubeless ok with some extra sealant. next time i will get rim rench

what rim is that, what do you weigh, and what tire pressure were you running?

stans flow 650b, i weigh 180lbs, runing tubeless @ 30 psi. rear wheel.

wow, that's pretty remarkable... in a bad way. you don't remember hitting an individual rock or something that caused this?

i hammer over rocks all the time, but dont remember hearing sound that would make me stop and look what had happened.
