Whats YOUR favorite 29" light Trail Rear Tire?

Im looking for a lightweight "all a rounder" I can run for the season.

I like my RaRa's on the rear but Im going through at least 1 a season... At $90 I want some more life from it...

Ive Run Ikon's on the rear and its pretty good but the braking traction and cornering leaves something to be desired... Anyone running the New 2.35 Ikon on the rear?

Im looking at an Ignitor on the back, but dont know if the traction with hang with the RaRa... thoughts?

So whats YOUR favorite Light (sub 650g) Rear tires??
I do all my own stunts, but never intentionally...

Whats YOUR favorite 29" light Trail Rear Tire?

Although I take MBA with a grain of salt, the GC is a good tread. I've used the GRID version in the winter. Tough tire, but I don't know about long term wear. The Captain is a great tire and wears well.

If you like RaRa, why not just buy them cheaper? (bike-discount) Yes they charge $26 for shipping, so buy several tires at once.

I've tried the GC on the front and rear, and prefer RaRa and NoNi any day...

Even at $66 each shipped overseas is a lot for a tire that lasts half a season

I got the SS version, $38, free shipping for three. They do wear fast.

I've loved the Ground Control I've put on this winter, but clueless about weight... It was lighter than what it replaced.

I'm also keenly interested in trying the IKON in the bigger size, as I loved that tire on an XC bike.
