Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! Tubeless Conversion FSA300- does the tires have to be tubeless? or nontubeless work?

I did a search and didnt quite find an answer.

I have a set of FSAXC300 and just purhcased Stans Rim Strips.

Now I am deciding on what tires to get. Does it matter of the tire is Tubeless or not tubeless? Shouldnt the sealand seal either up?

ALso for the owners with these with tubeless. what tires are you guys using, and how do u like?
