    Tire durometer ?

Would manufactures listing tire durometer spec's be useful for making tire purchase decisions ? I purchased a couple tires, as of late, and both have had a noticeably stiffer tire compound (really not the greatest traction).

Sort of, not really. There is more to rubber compound performance than how hard it is.

It would still be nice to know as part of the equation.
