SunRingle Black Flag Comp 29 Deal?

I can get a set of SunRingle Black Flag Comp 29 wheels new for $280. I don't really need a set of wheels (the stock Giant wheels on my Trance X 29er 1 are doing fine so far) but this seems like a strong deal. Looking for feedback on value. Is it worth grabbing them for $280, or is the low price reflective of their quality?

Background: I'm 205ish and ride typical MI XC with lots of roots, occasional rocks, and occasional small drops. No huge air or anything nutty.

    Would appreciate any input. Thanks.

I have these wheels and like them. I am 220lb riding xc and trail type stuff in Arizona. I picked them up used on craigslist for $150 slightly used. I have only used cheap stock wheels before this and these are a huge upgrade. They set up tubeless easily. I did manage to bend the bead on the rear wheel because my tire was too small and I ride a hardtail. I was able to bend it back and got a bigger tire and I still run it.

I'd jump on that deal. I know performance had them on their site for $300 a while back. Hopefully they'll go on sale again.

Keep an eye out. I got them for 269 ? They were 299 + 20% off one day sale.

Wouldnt pay much more than that as Ebay has great pricing on Stans Arch/Crest. Once youre over 350+

    How do you like them?

The only stans arch ex wheel set I see on eBay are laced to x7 hubs. Is that a better deal? They cost $379 + shipping.

I got a set of these wheels from Performance on sale a few months ago for $240 ($280 shipped). I was able to set up my Schwalbe Nobby Nic Performance series tires tubeless easily. I have several hundred miles on them without any problems. They seem to be stiffer than the Vuelta wheels that came with my Ti Fly Motobecane 29er. I looked the other day and Performance no longer show these on the website so they must be on the way out. In contrast, a friend who recent got a Lynskey Pro 29er is less than pleased with his Arch EX/Stans 330 wheelset. He had almost immediate bearing issues, but that could be an isolated problem.
