Any of you wheel builders have an opinion on this? Durability issues? Haven't seen many reviews of this rim.
I have trashed 2 AC front rims - once my fault, once not my fault. I want something fairly light, but that will hold onto a Maxxis Ignitor (the AC just won't keep it on below 30psi). The EQ23 has a pretty good bead hook on it, they are inexpensive, and I have had good luck w/ Sun rims in the past.
My calculations say I need 294mm spokes (w/ the AC disc 225 front hub). I haven't built a wheel in awhile, but does that length guarantee that the spoke will fully engage the nipple - I want to use standard alloy (not the longer AC nipples).
