Schwalbe Smart Sam, Maxxis Advantage or High Roller? What UST?

    Hi,

I ride a Cannondale hard tail in Texas on single trails. Hard pack, some rocky / sandy and road.
Just upgraded to a DH fork + xc rims, cos I broke the fork lockout. Schwalbe Rocket Ron UST 2.1 front.

Looking for decent rolling tire, lighter and traction as I ride quite hard.

Bought 3 UST Schwalbe UST Ralph Racing as they had a good deal. Now, it is out of stock.

What UST tire would you go with:
    -Schwalbe Smart Sam UST 2.1
    -Maxxis Advantage UST 2.1
    -Maxxis High Roller UST 2.1

A bump as im rather interested in the maxxis. I used smart sams 2.0 on an XC bike I had and they do seem to have an annoying habit of spraying grit and dirt of the underside of the frame, not doing any harm but it was mildy irritating! Grip wise they seemed as good as any, there cheap to.

If you must have a UST tire then i suggest the Maxxis Ardent 2.25 LUST. If you want lighter weight then get the Ardent 2.25 EXO. The EXO sidewall offer great damage protection and seals up well tubeless with a little goop. The Ardent rolls very well for a full tread tire and you can't beat the traction.

If you don't need a full tread design, give the CrossMark a look (if you must have UST) or the Ikon EXO if not.
    Nothing to see here.

Never used a tire that does not do this, including road slicks.
