    Ritchey Z-Max WCS Shield

Anybody using these? Likes? Dislikes? They're like Conti Race Kings except they have more bite on the shoulders. Just wondering if anybody's had durability problems. Much thanks.

    Bueller, Bueller?

Anybody running these, they look great but the ultra light weight concerns me.

I used the WCS Shield 29x2.1 last year. They are lighter than Conti Race King 2.2, Kenda Slant Six and Schwalbe Racing Ralph, but grip the same if not BETTER, than the three listed. The VFA treads is the secret of why they corner and climb so well. Tire is specifically designed for three different lean and cornering angles. At last - a true weight-weenie tire that grips and has the comfort of a large-volume casing.

Tom Ritchey and World Cup Swisspower XC rider Thomas Frischknect designed this tire to handle the rigors of fast XC racing. It's even good enough for the dry, desert All-Mountain riding I do.
