Ringle Son of Bubba Front Hub

Anyone have experience with these? Ringle was selling some of these on ebay recently for $25 each. I purchased a few and they feel "clicky" when rotated. Not real gritty, but not totally smooth either. I suspect that's why they were so cheap. Question is how much grittiness, if any, is acceptable? Should hubs rotate absolutely smoothly with no imperfections? I removed the end caps and seals and there's plenty of grease in there, so that's not the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Once you lace them to a rim it will barely be noticeable, if at all.
The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
