    rhyno lites and rim brakes

I have have an old rim sitting around that I was going to use on a cheap commuter. The rim is an all black rhyno lite that I was previously using on a disc brake set up. This rim does not have the silver "machined" section where the rim brake contacts the wheel. Is it still rim brake compatible? The rim is profiled like a rim brake wheel I just have not seen one that was painted there.

Still rim brake compatible, the anodizing will wear off the sidewalls eventually.
