Replacing a bent Sun Ringle Equalizer 29

    Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I took a bit of a tumble today and bent my rear Sun Ringle Equalizer 29 rim. I've been searching for a new rim, and was wondering whether I could replace it with an EQ31 or would I have to replace the entire wheel if the rim is not identical?

I don't particularly want to spring over 200 bucks on an entire new wheel

    Thanks!

Sure, you can replace it with whatever rim you want as long as you also replace the spokes. If your considering reusing spokes, the 31's ERD is only 1mm difference so you probably would not have an issue as long as the spokes were not damaged in the crash.
