Ratchet ring won't budge! Pleas Help.

I'm in the process of upgrading my freehub body on my Sun Ringle Charger Pro wheels. The upgraded freehub also requires a different ratchet ring. I cannot get the stock ratchet ring to budge! I have the proper ratchet ring tool and have used a breaking bar and a bench vise to no avail. Right now I'm soaking the rub with penetrating oil and will try again tomorrow after it soaks over night.

Wondering if anyone has any advice for ratchet ring removal.

    Thank you.

Never done it but bear in mind that the hub body is aluminium. Be VERY careful over how much force you put into the body or you'll feckupakate it.

I tried a couple of time, without result. I had to send the wheels back to the manufacturer.

Put the tool in a vice and rotate the wheel counter clockwise.

I had a Profile hub with a chipped drive ring which Profile would replace under warranty. Profile wanted the complete wheel not just the hub. When I received the wheel back the hubs ano. was discolored. Apparently they had to heat up the hub shell to get the drive ring to loosen. I ended up w/ a new hub after complaining about the discolored hub shell. I have a a few ring drive failure experiences and most manufactures consider it an in house repair.

I've done that. removing a stuck free-wheel, and bent the hub.

When I replaced my ratchet ring on my P321 hub I used the proper tool and hit it with an impact gun. Spun right off.

Impact wrench is a good idea. Best idea posted so far.
