racing ralphs
Hello,
Well, I ordered some racing ralphs from chainlove because they were a pretty good deal (45 a piece, 2.4's). I tried cancelling the order because I was reading some reviews and it sounds like they rip on the sidewalls easy and aren't easy to use tubeless, which I plan on doing.
Does anyone have any advice for me? Should I just keep them or try to send them back? There going on a RIP9. I won't be racing but having a lighter tire would be nice too.

Depends which model you ordered - they make "TR" versions.

No, Schwalbe never made a TR 29x2.40 RaRa.

The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common

Have you ever cut a sidewall? If not, the RaRa 2.40 casing is fine. Thin but not really fragile.
They are standard tires and never intended to be used without inner tubes on any rim.

I ended up cancelling my order. I just didn't like the reviews and sealing problems I saw. Been thinking about maxxis ardents or ignitors istead.

Ah, I missed the 29er reference in the OP. Never heard of a Rip9...
