I am eyeing the Psycho Genius tires but whats the diff in
Tioga Psycho Genius Tire - 26 x 2.30, Folding for $38 and
Tioga Psycho Genius Tire 26x2.20 UST Folding for $49?

3. Tubed or tubeless ready.

Well unless it's specified, no.

It must say UST or Tubeless or something similar or clearly specified by the manufacturer to be run tubeless.

I don't think you could run a standard clincher type tire tubeless with great results or overall reliability. Maybe, but I'm not sure.

Edit :

From Tioga USA website, they said for the Psycho Genius 26" tire that UST Options are :

2.10" - 680g (folding)
2.30" - 735g (folding)

So by that I guess they make a UST 2.3" tire. But they may also be a standard 2.3" tire, so be sure to get the right one.

Search the forum, someone posted up a good review on the 2.1 & 2.3 differences.

IIRC, the 2.1 knobs were bigger and they set up tubeless real nice.

This does not answer the 2.2 UST question, but gets you some info.
