New question here. Optimal Asymmetric Flange Configurations for Disc Hubs?

    Hi Folks,

Just looking for confirmation that the hubs I have at the top of my list will provide the optimal configuration for achieving even spoke tension. The price and weight are very good also.

DT Swiss 240s Front Hub - Disc - QR 9x100mm
DT Swiss 240s Rear Hub - Disc - QR 10x135mm

However, I would love to have something similar in Polished Silver like early 90s Dura-ace and Campagnolo hubs of that era as Black is so Drab, Dull and Boring.

    Thanks, MTB.

Narrow flanges make the most even tension. Also flexes the most.

It's not something to worry about.

You can get silver hubs from White Industries, Chris King, and Hope.

The DT Swiss 240 hubs are very good hubs, but here really isn't a perfect hub flange configuration because other variables need to be taken into account such as hub weight, hub material, and spoke lacing configuration.
