which nipples for 2.0/1.7 wheelsmith spokes?

I'm ordering up some 2.0/1.7 wheelsmith spokes for a wheelbuild, but I'm not sure which nipples to get... The website lists both 1.8x12 and 2.0x12

I feel like I ordered the 1.8's last time for these spokes, but they were too narrow. Any idea's? Does DT have a nipple compatible with these spokes?

    Thanks!

The spokes are 2.0 at the bend and the threads. You need 2.0 x 12mm 1.8 will be too narrow.

In most circumstances, Aluminum nipples work just fine as long as the wheel is correctly built and tensioned. I've been using them for many years without a single fatigue failure. And I've had a couple sticks in my spokes break the nipple instead of ripping it out of the rim which made for a easy repair instead of having to build a new wheel.

Okay, that's what was throwing me off... for some reason I thought they were 2.0 at the bend and 1.7 at the threads, but the nipples were 1.8, which would make no sense... (obviously, I'm not a master wheel builder... yet)

    Thanks!

definitely, i just like brass because of the foolproofness of them, because lets face it, how many of us regularly check tension and all that.
