NE1 run Mythos II front tire on F & R?

I just picked up some of these tires and noticed both are 'front' specific. I'm curious if I'll be able to get away with using these at a 12 Hr solo race that's on mostly hardpack. Or should I make sure I pick up the rear as well?

This is the first tire I'm trying that's not a WTB so I'm a little unsure what to expect.

    Thanks!
Why would I need more than one gear?

It will work but you will not have as much drive traction as with a rear specific Mythos.

The front Mythos on the rear should have slightly less rolling resistance than the rear version. For what its worth, Tinker Juarez used to race on two front Mythos.

Cool. Thanks for the info fellas. I'll have to test ride 'em first and if they feel like slicks or somethin', I'll make sure I pick up a rear too.

    Muchas gracias!
