My review of Fair Wheel Bikes custom wheelset program - Extralite parts

Here is my review of Fair Wheel Bikes. I asked for them to build for me a front wheel to complement my new bike build.

Hack Racer: Extralite custom front wheel = Extra good! from Troy @ Fair Wheel Bikes

My next project. 2012 full suspension race bike

I already have a wheelset with Chris King, Sapim Laser, Stan's Notubes Alpine and alloy nipples.

I'm going to reuse this wheelset but use a different front wheel with QR15. Since QR15 equates into a weight penalty (Yes I'm a hardcore weight weenie guy). I wanted to negate this by using an extralite hub and Tune QR15 skewer. Hence this front wheel build. I chose to keep the Chris King rear wheel for the high degree of engagement and also for its proven reliability.

I'm pretty certain they are Sapim Aluminum Polyax Nipples.
