    Minion DHR II single ply?

Where are they? Not released yet?

    I'm currently using DHF 2.70 42a / DHR 2.50 42a with tubes.
However I find them overkill for an AM bike.

First of all I'll get rid of tubes, than change front to 2.50 single ply 42a with exo protection, rear to 2.40 single ply 60a with exo protection.
I found the front tires on stocks but can't find rear yet.

    Cheers

Finally it's in stock on maxxis online shop.
But only 60a compound, still no sign for 3C

I'm seeing the 3C MaxxTerra versions on the Maxxis eStore.

I'm going crazy waiting around for this tire! I hope it's good. I was thinking about running the 60 for a rear tire to keep the speed up... loose over hardpack and loam. Temped to try 3c in the rear though

Well, I also think to go with 60 for rear in the beginning, also mentioned in my OP though.
However , once my local trails getting dry and warm, I found rear would be in trouble on the loose ground.
That's why I changed my mind from 60 to 3C.

26" 2.40 3C DHR II single ply is on stock right now!
But I can't order it directly maxxis store, it's for USA shipping only.

Please advice how I could get this tire?
    Thanks

Edit: I could paypal if someone could order and send it to me

Universal has 26 x 2.3 tubeless ready listed but none in stock. I called them and they thought mid June for stocking them. They had the one listed ending in 3000 (duel compound) and not the 3100 (3C)

58mm wide as compared to 61mm for the 2.4.

Thanks for your interest and giving a call to Universal.

As I said if someone could do a favor and order it for me I could pay.

Well I had called for myself last week! I am running tubeless rims and the doublewall DHR2 2.4 up front tubeless with no issues. Running the slightly shorter DHF 2.5 Folding bead EXO in the rear tubeless also. Very hard to set the bead with a floor pump on that one and it creeps some sealant on hard cornering. Not safe.
So I like to run a slightly smaller tire in the back and want a TL bead thus my interest in that tire.

I'm not sure I have seen the DHR2 26 x 2.4 (non wire bead) 3C anywhere(other than Maxxis store) ....only wire bead double wall.

    Good Luck!

I'm running DHF 2.7 tubeless up fron, DHR 2.5 tubeless rear.
I could set the beads with a floor pump without big problems. Only thing is these dual-ply's required little bit more sealant and needed time to get air tight (although after not using bike for one week , it looses 3-5 psi)

But 2.7-2.5 dual ply combo is little bit heavy for an AM bike. Therefore I want single ply, with EXO than well, let's say it will be 1,5 ply.

    Cheers
