Michelin Comp S Light, Front or rear

I got one Michelin Comp S Light as a prize and was wondering if experience has shown this to be a better front or rear tire. My riding is in Virginia and West Virginia, mostly racing and training for racing.

I also have just one mounted on the rear

I have a Tioga XC Extreme on the front of my hardtail and just mounted the Comp S I had lying around on the rear.

I wanted the wider tire up front.
